Bhagavad Gita 2.63 — The ladder of downfall
क्रोधाद्भवति सम्मोहः सम्मोहात्स्मृतिविभ्रमः। स्मृतिभ्रंशाद् बुद्धिनाशो बुद्धिनाशात्प्रणश्यति ॥
krodhādbhavati sammohaḥ sammohātsmṛtivibhramaḥ | smṛtibhraṃśād buddhināśo buddhināśātpraṇaśyati ||
Meaning
Anger leads to confusion, confusion to loss of memory, loss of memory to the ruin of judgement, and with the ruin of judgement, a person is ruined.
In today's life
When you feel anger rising, step away before it clouds your judgement and you say or do something you regret.
